Ryan Middaugh

My name is Ryan Middaugh, and I am the owner and operator of East Texas Elite Kennel. With 14 years of professional dog training experience, I began my journey training part-time while working in corporate America. In 2017, I made the decision to leave my corporate job and dedicate myself fully to East Texas Elite Kennels. There’s nothing more rewarding to me than seeing the progress a dog makes in our program. Teaching dogs and mentoring interns is my passion. Outside of training, I enjoy a good round of golf and tackling any challenge, but nothing compares to the thrill of seeing your breath in the crisp air as a group of spoonies lowers their landing gear to touch down on the water.

Logan Middaugh

My name is Logan Middaugh, and I am 16 years old. Growing up around dogs has given me a deep appreciation for training and working with them. I enjoy assisting my dad with our labs and take pride in helping each dog reach its full potential both in the field and at home. Over the years, I’ve learned that patience and consistency are key to developing a well-trained dog. I also enjoy meeting clients and seeing the progress their dogs make throughout training. Outside of training, I enjoy hunting and spending time outdoors. I value the trust you place in us with your dog and look forward to helping you achieve great results.

Blayde Weekley

My name is Blayde Weekly, and I have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from LeTourneau University in Longview, where I also played golf for the university. I am now working toward earning my Master’s degree. I enjoy working at the kennel because I love seeing dogs reach their full potential—whether as well-behaved companions or essential members of a hunting team. Golden Retrievers and Labrador Retrievers are my favorite breeds, and my personal dog, Homer, is currently in the gun dog training program. It’s an honor to have your trust in helping transform your dog into the best version of themselves.
